pcos and testosterone levels

I am having irregular periods since 5 years. Doctors believed its PCOS. Today, i got call from my doctor that my testosterone levels are much higher than even with pcos. They want to rule out adrenal tumour so i need to have ct scan done.
Has anyone had higher levels of testorone checked?
I am really worried.
