My 21 months goes to part time daycare since 18 months..Last couple of days he had cold and runny nose so we didn't send there thinking he needs more rest.Today he was okay but still there is runny nose even though it's very very less.So we sent him to daycare today.When I went to pick him up(after 2 hrs dropping off him there)I was shocked to see my kid's condition.Mucus was streaming all the way down to his mouth, he was licking it and they hadn't wiped it off.i haven't said anything to the teacher as it was first experience for me but wiped it myself.There were only 5 kids including him and the teacher didn't even bother to wipe it off.Its starting to bother me how long DS has been sitting there with runny nose and nothing has done to make him comfortable.I just don't know whether this is normal in daycare to let kids with runny nose just like that..What's your opinion about this?..
