Need Suggestion For Bank Jobs / Working At Bank

Hi
Am native of Karnataka and new to US and have work permit. I reside in DC Metro Area. Am thinking of trying out bank jobs here. Just wanted to check how safe is working at banks here ? And how will be working conditions ?

If any one worked in banks here in the past, pls pass on your suggestions.
