"Yet another day!", I felt but did not sigh, as I find something interesting every single day now. I took the same bus and traveled the same route but did watch something new that day. The bus conductor just asked in a customary tone about where I would be getting down, though he got used to seeing me these days. Before even I responded, he tore the ticket to my destination. I smiled and thanked him, before quickly settling down in an empty seat with a thud [size matters! :-(].

There was this old man whom I saw a couple of times earlier and he got down at the stop where there is a hospital. I sat next to him so had a chance to watch him closer. The lines on his face and the wrinkles on his hand were well marked and added a sublime beauty to him. He just had an umbrella and an old bag and was searching for something in it. Then he took a small diary and wrote something in it. The pen that he used attracted me like a magnet. It was an ink pen and I was in a nostalgia when seeing that. He too was left handed and had a neat hand, with an amazingly firm grip. Soon he had to get down and I stood out of his way. He left with a smile and I felt that we spoke volumes without exchanging a word. Soon I got down too and was just wondering what else do I need to feel pleasant.

Yes, its just an ordinary life with nothing great to boast about. And the limitations are more than the so called skills too, I admit. But then, there are times when you feel so fuller, though having nothing. Right? As I moved along, I saw this vendor who had a score of items spread on the pavement with a price tag of Rs. 10-/- and Rs. 20-/- mostly. Many items may not even be worthy for that price, but I was glued to the display as always to see what items come up there. At times, I have seen testers, screw drivers and even small hammers for Rs. 20-/- and remain baffled why the price tag that I saw in a big shop was 100% more though one cannot vouch for quality there.

Then this switch board cutter who sat outside an electrical shop took all my attention. He was very old and had thick glasses with thicker frame, which I thought could be one of the reason for his chin touching his neck. But he was so focused on his job that he cut that board to a precision. He looked up, had a tired smile at nobody in particular, kept that board aside and took the next one. I am not sure whether noting all these would be of use to me or anyone, but can't help it. Its just something that I saw and wrote here too. Seeing the cheaper goods display again, I spotted the 'magic' slate, where you write on a fluorescent screen with a plastic pencil kind of a thing and can run that aside by moving a slider across the board. I thought my son would like it and got one, also thinking that its just how my life would be too.

To simply put - Colourful sparks here and there with no pattern that one could attribute, soon fading and vanishing so fully too. Then there will be someone else who may be leagues better. No, I am not ending this with a sad note, but rather amazed at this very same thing that most of us end up with. Knowing one's own limitation is actually considered as a strong point. Now I realized why.

I am a nobody, yet I find that everybody and everything interests me in one way or another.
