Would like to make few freinds
Hello Ladies
I have a few months old boy but we rarely take him out. Last few years in US, I was totally occupied with my studies and some personal situations, so didnt get opportunity to make friends. Now I realize it is high time I should socialize for myself and my baby.
I would really appreciate if someone can help me how to go about it. I am open to trying out any meetups or other venues. I am a north indian, live in south bay and work in healthcare. Also any suggestions, what might be good places to take this small baby ?
Thnx

Curd for kid with milk allergy
Hello
My daughter four years old. When she was 3 we found out she is allergic to milk. We are using almond milk instead of regular milk but what do we do about curd? She loves curd. We live in the US. She is very poor does not like Curries. If she can eat the at last she'll eat that so I am just curious if there is an alternative to curd .

Best Gynaecologist to consult for Childbirth/Delivery in Dubai
Hello friends,
I'm into my 6th month of pregnancy (Second Child). I'm consulting Dr. Suma Thomas of Gardens Medical Center, Discovery Gardens. She is very nice and supportive.
Soon she will be referring to any hospital where i shall carry out delivery which is due in the month of March 2016.
Now it's up to us to select the hospital based on good feedbacks and insurance approval.
We are confused between Aster Hospital Mankhool & Medcare Jumeirah which Dr. Suma has adviced. Or is there any better hospital to approach?
Would like to know about the Gynaecologist details also.
Expecting everyone's valuable advice on this regard
Regards

Dressing to look plesant for day-to-day activities
Hi all:
I work from home. I can put myself in house wife category and want to understand how do they manage to be pleasant throughout the day. Please do not mistake for pointing housewife. Basically office goers anyways will be in good dress, they will do their outside work either on the way to office or on the way returning back home. I know most of us prefer wearing most comfortable dress track pants, nighties or old salwar kameez at home. But I need to often go out like for dropping kid to school bus or walk a bit for veggies etc. If I wear good office going type salwar kameez I will make it old by washing often. I cannot keep them without washing for long time also so I need to repeat it number of times within a week and then wash. One more issue for me is I sweat more so cant keep it back in almirah without washing. And I end up wearing house wearing dress only nearby shops and going down for pickingup/dropping kid. I wanted to look plesant all time. I know I am beating around bush. I just want to know how you maintain to look neat and pleasant and maintain your dresses also. I see some house wives looks clean and fresh always. Request you to share how you manage this and share some tips ...

The Safed Maans - a Rajasthani delight
Of all the Rajasthani Cuisines the Safed Maans is most exotic non-vegetarian food. A signature dish of Rajasthan, it is lamb cooked in a white based gravy and then to a creamy texture. The paste of Coconut, poppy seeds, cashewnuts and almonds cooked in yoghurt enhances the flavour of this delectable dish. It tastes awesome when you have with Naan. Safed Maans is a truly decadent version of a Korma and can be termed as Royal Lamb Korma. But finding the correct recipe of Safed Maans is really tough.

Please advice
Hi
I am staying in USA since 1.5 years. I moved to USA after my marriage. My sil is single and she recently moved here for studies. Looking at previous bad experiences my husband decided to make her stay away from us. My pil were not happy with his decision and they think I am the one who made him do that.
About my sil, she's very rude n cunning. She's jealous wid me coz being younger than her I am married. She always compare her wid me.
As soon as me n my husband got married, we stayed in India for couple of months. She used to stay wid us. She appeared very friendly n quite all d time. In this duration, my in laws visited us twice. Whenever in laws came she used to show her true colors. She yelled at me saying dat m not looking after kitchen. I didn't listen n equally reacted to it which my in laws didn't like. Den when we moved to USA , she stopped talking n blocked me on watspp n fb. After she came in USA started talking for few days when she stayed wid us. Now she's into Cold War wid me.
I have a six months old baby. She's least concerned for baby too.
Now my in laws are coming to USA to stay wid us for couple of months. Looking dat their daughter is staying away m sure my mil will create emotional dramas from time to time.
Also my sil don't visit us often. But I am sure when pil come she ll visit us often n participate in emotional dramas. She may not even talk wid me when she come to r place.
I don't know how to react wid her, pil n also to such emotional dramas.
About my DH, he becomes a victim of emotional dramas played by my mil n sil. He's kind of neutral n doesn't oppose dem. I feel helpless in these situations.
Need ur comments guys.

Seeing multiple women at once?
So, I am seeing multiple women at once. I added them on messaging services and also am calling them regularly and will soon be meeting up with them shortly.
Is this common and normal? I feel a bit weird. Some of them developed some attachment/feelings for me. In one case it is slightly mutual. Is it better to interact with them one at a time serially or parallely? Doing it parallely is more efficient while doing it serially is time consuming. I am not 100% sure about any of them so far. How would I know if they are the correct person for me?
What was your experience like?

"SHOUT" To Be Heard and Believed
"Hello", I call my Woman Friday to ask her something.
Now all I can say is either WF gets very excited when she hears my voice or she thinks I am deaf. Her voice immediately steps up a few decibels (I love understatement). To be very honest, the apt word would have been "shrieks". I know my hearing leaves something to be desired, but her shouting does nothing to help. If anything, on the contrary.
I am no big fan of Arnab Mukherjee. However, I happened to be watching the news channel tonight to hear what our PM had to say on the floor of Parliament. There came AM all excited at 9 PM - the source of his excitement was the PM and his politically sauve moves which according to AM have pushed Congress into a corner. I could not understand why he was screaming out the headlines. Does that make what he says true? Does he feel what he believe he would be disbelieved if he does not shout? Or is he worried that the PM did not shout loud enough to be heard or believed by the public?
Talking of shrieking, I have a confession to make. I shriek too, but the reason is totally different. I used to shriek when playing Aunt Dahlia to my personal infant Bertie. The poor mite (oh, that is only figuratively speaking, he was quite a 'handful' literally speaking) used to believe that he could sleep only if he screamed. So I used to sing a lullaby about 10 decibels higher. The poor fellow used to give me a shocked look and go off to sleep feeling la-la land was a safer place to be than the lap of an Aunt Dahlia (even if she was only a counterfeit, she gave a perfect rendition of the original one who tended to address the original Bertie over the phone or indoors, as if 'shouting across ploughed fields in a high wind'). The other reason I need to raise my voice these days is to ensure the class can hear me over the sound of their internal blabbering. My throat hurts. Makes me wonder if AM has a never-ending stock of throat soothers at home! :-D
